Up until 2021, all but two of the books I had read throughout my life were written by white authors. That's how I was raised, so that's how I continued. For the past four years, every book I've read was by a Black, Chinese, South Asian or Indigenous author. I'm making up for lost time.

Prime Minister Mark Carney has eliminated cabinet positions for people with disabilities and women and gender equality. Abortion Care Canada said: “To not have these ministers ... is an alarming development, with potentially devastating impacts on our communities.”

So far, CTV News, CityNews 570, and the Waterloo Region Record have not interviewed a single Indigenous, Black, Asian or Jewish person about why they might object to the return of Wilmot's Prime Ministers Path statues.
