🎉🦕 Happy Birthday, Dread! 🦕🎉 Discovered in Patagonia by Dr. Kenneth Lacovara, Dreadnoughtus means “fears nothing.” At 85 feet long and 65 tons, it was one of the largest land animals ever! Celebrate at EFM on September 5 and 6 with special programs, activities, and dino-sized fun!

Creature Feature: Pteranodon! These toothless, winged reptiles weren’t dinosaurs, but flying pterosaurs, close relatives in the Ornithodira group. Just like whales and fish both have fins, Pteranodon and birds independently evolved the tools to master the skies.
