I DM’d Lost Mine of Phandelver for the group last night. My first time as a DM and it sounds like everyone had a blast.

I’m going to DM for the first time tomorrow. A little nervous.

Ok, so… I’ve got a 4 song EP pretty much finished. I’ve got a 10 song album written with rough versions done. I’ve got at least 5 songs from what was going to be the first album in the same state. Working on new stuff. My brain is afraid to finish anything because what if people don’t like it?

I never cease to be amazed at how little it takes to buy a politician in this country. $50k? We can crowdfund that, right? And get a lobbyist to do the work for us? I mean we could probably raise enough to buy several…

It depended on his mood. If we were on a long road trip, it was likely to be nothing, which was torture to me. Sunday afternoons, it’d be the Bears game if it was football season. The rest of the time was 50’s-60’s rock or big bands.

Illinois isn’t perfect. We’ve got a bad reputation that we’re working on. This? This is great. There’s so much more to do on so many fronts, but this will hopefully help. I don’t get to feel proud of where I’m from very often, but it’s nice to feel a little pride as an Illinoisan sometimes.
