I am mostly a positive person and on times like this, I focus on the things around my community that I can change and the people around me I can educate. But this morning, there is a bit of: what if good does not always win in the long run? what if this is it?

Had a clear experience of biased behavior at work yesterday. 10 years ago Alicia would have been really angry. Today's Alicia is just sad and disappointed. So I was called matured. I wonder if maturity is actually just being too tired to keep up fighting.

Thanksgiving morning runs are great cause nobody is around. It is quiet and peaceful and I get to smell food people are making. Also, super grateful I can run, I have wonderful friends and family and a job I like most of the time. P.S. I think some of my neighbors will wake up to burnt food =S
