Universal Horror Unleashed in Vegas opening day was … something. lots of thoughts, but in short it was kinda disappointing.

Went to a play in London starring Ewan McGregor and were lucky enough to see him at the stage door after the performance. 20 years ago almost exactly I saw him perform on stage in London, too. he’s wonderful!!

accidentally bought a shirt that’s sorta themed to the disneyland 70th color scheme. too bad it’s not worth it enough for me to buy an AP anytime soon to go.

since i feel like complaining about everything today. i want to stop this dumb trend of “we are not cheap” advertisements i see everywhere as a way for companies to get away with overcharging for things. the “we are self-aware we are expensive because we are worth it” thing is so stupid

living in this timeline where companies like Disney and Southwest just keep stripping away things that differentiated them for sake of the bottom line is really disheartening.

i really have been wanting every angle in my house to look pretty, interesting, or to have some sort of theme. love all these little spaces

So we went to an EDM concert at the Sphere and it felt like it was made for just that. It was a crossover between feeling like you were in a video game to being on an attraction at a theme park. the seats rumbled and vibrated to the music the whole show. a totally unique experience

concert tonight at The Sphere in Vegas. the vibes of the “lobby” area are so epcot/tron

it’s been nice. the bones of aulani are great. any complaints i have are managerial in nature. So many little cutbacks, included perks that now cost $$$$, etc… CMs were all great. Like everything, it’s just a shame to see everything cost more while you receive less.

when you have one day left of pills in your travel pill box and know vacation is almost over

still hard to believe that aulani, being a standalone destination, closes up so early. lazy river and slides close at 6, pool at 8. then after 8 it’s difficult to get a table at the 2 bars since nothing else is open. it is a crime you can’t do nighttime lazy river.

sunsets at aulani are the best. so many great vistas around the resort

7-11 hawaii is the best

thankful that aulani still has at least one free workout class a day. most cost $30 now. originally when the resort opened, all classes were included. still bitter
