Can the archaeological collective help? These are finds from our recent excavation at Glendalough. All from cultivated soils with lots of C19-20 material. Triangular(ish) sections, varied widths. They are very clearly a 'thing' but we don't know what. Any suggestions/parallels appreciated.

Feeling wilding inappropriately smug that I’ve set up the 25-26 folders for my modules and imported last year’s not updated slide decks for lectures … as if that even scrapes the surface of what I need to do before September. #academicBluesky

Whenever I hear someone calling for "an end to left/right divisive politics", it turns out to be a right winger who thinks people on the left should abandoned their entire belief system & join with the right in persecuting minorities (whose mere existence is framed as "divisive.")

Infuriating that he says it and even more infuriating that he isn’t challenged on it when he says it.

So #AcademicBluesky how many of us are facing major rewrites, adding new case studies to our modules in September to keep abreast of changes in our areas …. It sure is a fun time to be in the Pharma/med device regulatory space.

I am old enough that I’ve just asked my son to help out with some coding on one of my PhD student’s work and promised him acknowledgment/authorship if it results in publications.
