There's a part of me that regrets being so disconnected from the irl furry scene these days that I didn't even realise Confuzzled 2026's theme is Musicals. If ANY theme would convince me to give cons another go (I haven't been to one since 2019), it'd be that. Alas, too late now! 😭

The cycle of bad customer service is made worse by customers yelling at people and making those workers terrified of ever admitting a problem to a customer. Just had a delivery driver hand me a package and all but sprint away to avoid me being able to question the fact the package was ripped open.

Motivation is a funny thing. Tell me to up my exercise 'for my health' and I'm like "eh", tell me it's so I can eat more nice food without consequences and I'm like "Sorry I can't hear you I'm too busy riding my stationary bike for a third hour!"

I'm almost caught up with the Apothecary Diaries light novels (the ones available in print format, at least), which means soon I'm gonna start watching the Apothecary Diaries anime for the first time. 🥰

Saw Wicked (For Good) today and had a blast. My favourite song of the show (No Good Deed) was just as atmospheric and awesome on the big screen as I hoped, and I loved the extra details they were able to slip into the movie that either weren't a part of, or were given more focus than on stage. <3

New figurine get! Maomao from the Apothecary Diaries. I've been enjoying the light novels so much that I couldn't resist, and I managed to find a legit seller from Japan rather than having to deal with the million bootleg companies trying to sell cheaply recast knockoffs through amazon. 🥰

I love it when a book uses immediate foreshadowing for both drama and comedy all at once. End of one chapter: "And so she went to sleep, hoping the rest of their journey would be free of bandits." Page turn. New chapter title: Bandits. 🤣😭🤣😭🤣😭🤣

Most people when a local business comes to know them well enough as a regular to ask their name and make friendly smalltalk: "Aww how nice!" My introverted gremlin ass: "Noooooo don't acknowledge my personhood, let me stay an indistinguishable blob that lacks object permanence in your mind!!"

I'm all caught up with the Zom 100 (Bucket List of the Dead) manga! What a fun series, even for someone like me who's not into horror at all. It's not afraid to be both deeply sad at moments and extremely goofy at others, but the overall optimism and joy of the series is what holds it together. <3

Upon returning to No Man's Sky recently I learned you can custom build ships now. Thus my goal became clear, colour co-ordinated fleet of Jeeves ships! (Pictured here, two different designs of fighters and one solar sail ship, pictured both docked and with sails deployed in flight). <3

I've reached the point in the Apothecary Diaries light novels where I can now watch all the anime that exists of it so far without risking spoilers. Buuuut I still have another three volumes of the series to read, so I'm gonna do that first. 🥰

I always chuckle a little when I see someone fave like 20-50 of my stories at once. Maybe they're using their faves like bookmarks and will be going back to read them later, but I like to imagine they're just main-lining furry smut with speedreading skills. 🤣🤣

Genuinely delighted by my bookcase find. I've been scouting the local second hand stores for one for months and was almost at the point of buying a cheap and poor quality flat-pack one online. Then I walk past the shop literally round the corner from my home today and what do I see? 🤩🤩

New bookcase get! Or rather second hand bookcase get! A little worn and scuffed but three shelves of perfectly functional bookcase to stop my manga and light novel library from overflowing its current shelving. 🥰

Started painting another squad of Warhammer 40k minis. This time it's some Space Marine assault intercessors to add to my small army of Salamanders (which I picked because of the same reason I pick all my warhammer painting projects, I like their colour scheme. 😅)

I played through Elden Ring 4x when it came out, 100%ing the steam achievements and exploring every corner of the map, and have watched several other playthroughs since then. I was today years old when I realised that people's "touch grace" messages were a "touch grass" pun. 😭😭🤣

I'm encountering the best kind of problem for a reader to have. A book series I just read the first book of digitally is getting a physical release, but there are nine books in the series out digitally already and I don't wanna have to wait like 2 years for them to all be published in paperback. :c

I'm reading the Zom 100: Bucket List of the Dead manga. Not because it's October and Halloween season or anything, it was just on my list. And yeah, just like the anime it turns out I can take all the gore and apocalyptic stuff in the world if the tone is kept positive and enthusiastic by the MC. <3

I've now read a few light novel series' that contain romance plots, most of which are slow build to the point where it's like "okay we're 11 novels in, and they're starting to THINK about kissing!" The one I started yesterday has the protagonist complaining of a sore ass from anal in chapter two.

I'm officially caught up with the Dahlia in Bloom light novel series, all 10 main ones plus the side stories volume 9.5 (which is one of the best '.5' books I've read, as the short stories do actually feed into the main plot and get referenced in the following book)! <3
