I really hate correcting people on my pronouns and I don’t normally do it and then end up feeling like shit about it, but I’ve corrected three different people on my pronouns today and as annoyed as I am about continually getting misgendered, I’m proud of myself for finally standing up for myself.

This wedding is so deeply unserious and tacky and it’s got my interested piqued, I’m ngl. Not enough to join the fray agin… but a little.

I’ve been using this rollator almost two months and I just figured out how to lock the brakes. 🙃

BREAKING: Pride Month Extended Indefinitely

Today I had another trans person tell me they’d respect my identity more if I didn’t go by Liz, bc it’s inherently feminine to them. I’m actually really annoyed by this and I kind of don’t want to continue to pursue a friendship with this person.

I’m very anxious and ruminatey tonight and I don’t care for it.

I have four makeup lessons this week and I am lesson planning right now and feeling so grateful that this is how I get to spend my time.

This is bone-chilling. A conservative hedge fund manager wants to require little girls to pass genital inspections for their “safety.” And it’s only for girls’ sports. There’s a clear link between transphobia and child sexual abuse.

so much love to all of my trans siblings/children (the family tree is weird okay) today. Our humanity exists outside of the ruling of any court system or government institution. We are the divine manifestation of what it means to be truly free and no laws can take that away

The press 3 option for these kids should have never been taken away in the first place. I’m holding this administration’s feet to the fire to get it restored fast because lifesaving help for kids in crisis cannot wait.

I’ve never been this consistently happy in my life, I don’t think, and I’m not even waiting for the other shoe to drop.

I ran into one of my very favorite old therapists at pride and we caught up a bit and we both got emotional about how far we’ve both come since we terminated therapy together.

This is the first time in three years that I’ve felt like I had a real community.

Two of my clients invited me over after Pride tonight and I got to spend the evening with a whole group of other trans people. I’m over the moon happy.

Between yapping to soooo many people yesterday and chain smoking at the party last night, I’m surprised I have a voice.

For pride this weekend I was able to wrangle enough donations for 48 teens to have a Pride makeup bag with a sponge, a makeup remover wipe, a pair of hair clips, a temporary freckle tattoo (I even found trans pride ones 🥹) and they’ll get to pick 1-2 fun products. They’re gonna be so excited. 😭

I’m so proud that we’re basically halfway through the year and I still haven’t missed a day of reading all year.

I want popcorn but my bed is so cozy.

Had a bad POTS episode and ate like seven pickle spears after I recovered and now I feel great.

My brain is revenge bed timing hard tonight. Glad I have nothing going on tomorrow.

That #TheWayHome ending was everything I wanted but I still wish there was more. Mostly, I’m just so grateful for this show and how it helped me believe in the power of storytelling again.

I’m still so new to using a mobility aid that I forgot to ask my client what floor her apartment is on and she’s on the third floor with no elevator and I have my walker with me. Oops. Hopefully she can help me get it up the stairs.
