I woke up all night with horrific cramps and anxiety. And I have to work today bc our holiday pay policy requires you to work the scheduled shift before and the scheduled shift after the holiday to get paid for the holiday. I feel miserable.

Dinner turned out so good. The casserole was the perfect comfort food and the Brussel sprouts were amazing. I did them in a sauce made up of balsamic glaze, soy sauce, and honey.

Dinner tonight is a cheesy chicken and rice casserole with air fried brussel sprouts. I am so excited to eat. I love Brussel sprouts.

I’ve been crocheting and embroidering all day and now I’m making a casserole for dinner. Really leaning into Midwest grandma today.

I haven’t slept at all and now it’s 6:00 am.

While it still makes my hands hurt, I’ve been delighted to find crochet is a lot easier on my joints than knitting was. When I started knitting I gave myself tennis elbow in both elbows and carpal tunnel in both wrists. Probs bc it was the height of lockdown and all I was doing was knitting lmao.

My back is killing me. Maybe I just need to take a muscle relaxer. That’ll put me to sleep.

I can’t sleep. Luckily I don’t work until 2 tomorrow. I’m just working on my tote bag project to pass time. I figured out crocheting the granny squares together was stronger than stitching them but I didn’t do it quite right so the back of the bag will look a little wonky. Oh well.

Just got out of Wicked and I’m sobbing.

I just stapled my fucking finger. I’m so done with today.

Okay I’m really committing to this crocheted baby blanket. I ordered the yarn and blocking boards and everything so now I have to finish.

I made the yummiest ramen dish today for lunch. Boiled ramen and drained when cooked. Sautéed 3 cloves of minced garlic and 3 tsp of minced ginger in a little oil. Added a can of chicken and sautéed until the canned taste went away. For the sauce I started by sautéing the same amount of garlic &

I finished all my granny squares and started weaving in the ends but got bored and decided to try my hand at making the bag strap. It’s gonna take forever but I finally got the pattern down.
