File under: I never thought it would be an issue until I tried. Adobe Illustrator has no trouble exporting a PDF with layers intact, but importing the same PDF reduces everything to one layer. Affinity Publisher roundtrips the file just fine.

Would love to know what’s happening in Lightroom on iPad: importing compressed Fuji raw files from a SD card reader and there are no previews, but those same files from the directly connected camera show previews. Is the camera doing something here?

Bluesky shouldn't delete the accounts of people asking for assistance. And this is coming from someone who trusts almost no one! I left Twitter because the bigotry, trolling, and abuse was out of control. Not once did I think, "Hmmm, I'm seeing too many GoFundMes."

Getting to know my teeny Fuji XT30II and one of the complaints I've seen is how easy it is to accidentally press the Q (Quick) menu while holding the camera. Fair. But a quick bit of research and I've mapped that to another button and disabled the Q button. Easy fix!

Well now I get the feeling this is exactly what *is* happening.
