Today, I had jury duty and ended up getting selected to serve on a jury, but I'm kinda okay with it? I see so many injustices daily that leave me feeling hopeless, so being able to take part in something likes this makes me feel like I can help give someone their fair & impartial day in court.

Increasingly I feel like I favor furry because it espouses the idea that humans, for all our mastery over nature, are still animals. We need to nap and wander and frolic and utter strange noises. I think majoring in mass communication really helped my masking by giving me a social flowchart to follow when interacting with others. My conversations only seemed 'natural' because I had lots of practice with studying actions and matching them with appropriate reactions.
