The problem with the later stages of self-editing your novel is that you actually have to follow up on all those "notes to self" from your past self. 😩

Reading The Mythmakers by John Hendrix. Gosh, my creative method is stuck halfway between C.S. Lewis's fast-paced, image-based mythos and Tolkien's slow-and-steady, logic-based perfectionism. Great book, but my head hurts from all this unexpected introspection.😅
