BSKY HOT TIP: i think many of you are not seeing posts featuring video embeds etc as these seem to be toggled OFF by default! go to Settings, and scroll down to External Media Preferences under Privacy in there, you'll find a series of toggles! switch on any you would like to see in your feed!

One part of our upgraded infrastructure may affect your profile. If you see your handle now says “Invalid handle,” please reverify it by navigating to Settings > Change my handle > Type in your current handle > Verify DNS Record > Update. (Basically, update to the same handle.)

With all of us coming here to Bluesky, we are all essentially hitting a big reset button. Twitter promoted a lot of toxic unhealthy traits in the pursuit for clout thanks to its awful algorithm. Here, those toxic fucks don't have an algorithm to push their bullshit. This is a huge chance for us.
