This song by Lana Del Rabies is just about halfway to HNW, which is plenty to make it interesting and listenable. The harsh mids and highs are scooped out, only saved for the vocal bits, so it is not an unpleasant experience.

This has stopped getting much traction when I share it (understandable, everyone is unemployed and fatigued), but things are really tight for us right now and I would appreciate any extra visibility I can get. Available for all kinds of supplemental freelance and contract work.

First demo for official original material sounds like early Street Sects, but future music releases will combine dark ambient drone with hardcore industrial/electronic and experimental black metal.

Was debating whether or not to get the Korg wavestate mk II Module (desktop synth), or the software version to manipulate samples, but I think I’ll just settle for Baby Audio’s Grainferno.

I have a weird electronic beat I’ve attempted to upload to Bandcamp, then quickly deleted multiple times throughout the last 7 years. It’s finally finding a home, and will be an @argrecnetlabel.bsky.social exclusive on the next Experimental Music/Noise compilation. I have to let it go.

Watching ‘The Tale of the Princess Kaguya,’ and everyone deciding what will make Li’l Bamboo happy, never considering her own feelings and choices for even a second, and it’s mostly a downer. Maybe it has a hopeful ending, but at this point, seems like it could go either way.

Made a visualizer for my latest dark ambient drone project, and even though the visuals look good, the music just sounds boring to me. I just can’t effing do this anymore.

Just discovered there's an experimental noise artist, Lana Del Rabies, who mixes industrial and gothic elements with crushingly brutal sounds and visual/performance art. I can't stop listening to it. If you like Evicshen, or Trace Amount, etc., worth checking out.

Haven’t had a Blue Moon in years. Just IPAs, standard ales, lagers, and stouts. But I tried one today, and it tastes something like disgusting.

I’m caught between the fun (but frustrating) experience of playing Crimson Desert, and the knowledge that it will drain potentially hundreds of hours out of my life, and I’m concerned I won’t feel like it was worth it when I finish the main story.

Live guitar. Live trumpet. Maybe live bass, idk. It all sounds so much better than stock virtual instruments, even if they’re on the cheaper side. All tones can be shaped with the proper production tools.

I think going from dark ambient drone to blackened funeral doom is a natural progression.
