I think something might be clinically wrong with AI artists.

My days of slogging through the murky swamps of long-form ambient drone are officially over. From now on, I’m sticking to chaotic and aggressive music with industrial elements, and atmospherics. The ambient drone soundscapes will be relegated to the background.

Played through my first Mass Effect game: ME2. Moved on to ME3. Tried a classic survival horror game, got bored, then played through ME1. Loaded a character into a new ME2 game to amend the mistakes I made in my first play-through. I swear, it’s like a sickness. I’m done forever after this.

Should’ve been predictable that after getting bored with Morrowind, I’d think Silent Hill 2 felt “too slow,” even though the creep factor is high, and I’d return to Mass Effect for the fast-paced action and romancing options.
