Nirvana the Band the Show the Movie was kinda everything I was hoping it would be. It was almost surreal to see what felt like a new, very long episode to a show I have rewatched so extensively. I'm really happy it was such a good time and hope it's success means we might get that third season

the first of these was a really pleasant surprise! plenty of great characters and some really charming bits that play around with its own structure. I'm happy to see it's getting a sequel

the point of a game is not to beat it, it is to play it. difficulty is only "a problem" if it is "in the way" of beating the game, which is an issue in the mindset of the player, not in the structure of the game. redoing parts of a fun game is not a punishment, it's an invitation to hang out

2025 was rough for me in a lot of ways, but I feel like it's allowed me to enter 2026 with a perspective on what I value from the stuff I create and knowledge on overcoming the creative pitfalls I've fallen into many times. In an arms-length personal sense I'm really looking forward to this year
