I dont get ppl complaining the sonic crossworlds dlc is focused on non-sonic characters. Like ignoring that we’ve already gotten 2 sonic additions through the free dlc and 3 in the season pass, there are 29 sonic characters in the game and 23 of those all have over a thousand unique interactions

I love tangle & whisper and I think it’s great that the chaotix casefiles introduce them to more people and they were probably the reason that they got voice actors …but at the same time they definitely felt shoehorned in 😭 there’s just not a particular reason for them to be around narratively
