Some hours I feel very much in control of teaching and grad school at the same time and other hours I feel like I’m very much being pulled under. Such dichotomy in my time.

The classrooms and other spaces I’m in are starting to be too cold for me. I’d rather not keep a coat on but I don’t wanna be cold. At all.

Man it’s only Wednesday! But damn glad to be here.

In today’s ‘so I’m old’ news, my hip hurts from just sleeping. Looks like I’ve reached the I need to stretch before the day starts portion of my life.

Day 2. I damn sure could’ve used another week of summer vacation. Oh yea Grad school starting his this week as well. No rest for the weary

First day of the new school year. Year 14 for me. Shout out to all the DC teachers, families, admins who are starting school today. We got this! Only 180 days left!
