Why are so many Punk singers very much not punk? So many abusers out there, when the ethics of punk are supposed to be righteous. Fame corrupts so many people.

Here's the thing about social media, it can feel like we put our heart & soul into something, but if we share it at the wrong time, or not enough people 'like' it, it can be disheartening. The problem IS social media, not the thing we put our soul into. Believe in the process, lean in to your heart.

I get so many Spam / Scam emails about my books, people claiming to want to feature them in book clubs. It's so depressing. I would love my books to be featured in a book club, but these scams are trying to extort money from vulnerable writers for non existent promos. It fills me with sadness.

I once asked a bookseller at a large indie store how many people would have to buy a book for it to get the attention of the store buyer and cause an additional order and they said: Three.

Also, losing a job you didn't want to do feels so bad. I don't know why it feels worse, but it's like it stings twice for some reason

Why is that some days are good, and some are crappy? I have such a bad feeling about today...

Anyone sent a parcel to USA recently? I just had one returned by DPD with no comments on why. I filled out the pro-forma invoice etc. It was a gift. Not sure why or what service to try instead.
