Really enjoying seeing everyone so hyped about @sequential-scot.bsky.social. In this landscape launching a new comics-led convention is incredibly hard - bordering on masochism - so seeing it succeed like this is a tonic.

@sequential-scot.bsky.social was like woah! You could feel that this was about the art and the artists. It was about the people and the community and the power of indie comics. It was amazing to meet so many people I’ve been in the orbit of and I’m so glad that this happened.

Things like @sequential-scot.bsky.social and @tagsfest.co.uk are what we’ve needed in Scotland — And to see them flourish and do so well is such a confident boost for the indie comics community.
