Been struggling to write because what I'm writing isn't "important." But storytelling, by its nature, is important. Not just as escape, but as a way to feel seen. We love tales of fantastical journeys we'll never go on because we see glimpses of our own journey. So maybe writing is important.

This approach literally saved my life. I made a promise to myself that as long as the sky is beautiful, I have to stick around. There have been a lot of gorgeous clouds and lovely sunsets on days when I really needed them.

This is something I've learned from depression & chronic pain. There is no magic fix, they'll never go away but there are ways to make it easier. Cherish the good days, be gentle to yourself in the bad. Keep building your support network, gathering resources & fighting to improve what you can.

Don't worry #booksky, my 5-year-old niece will singlehandedly save libraries. My sister had to limit her to 20 books out at a time 😂 (Jokes aside, my whole family has library cards, & I regularly use Libby for audiobooks because they do count. Library cards are easy to get and unlock so much!)

Work has been quiet (gearing up for some big things) so I've been getting back into matrix logic puzzles!
