Jude is such a badass...I love her so much. I love that she's genuinely confident in her ability to maneuver and outmaneuver the Folk. Even knowing what lies in book 3...I was still mad at Cardan 😅 like sir we are not used to you being clever...so don't start now...it throws us off our game!

Okay so...so far this year I've reread The Halfling Saga...which honestly I could see rereading every year 🥰 I just started a reread of The Cruel Prince because I just need that Jude Cardan enemies to lovers 🤌🏽 This year really is going to be the year I re-immerse myself in worlds I love 🥰

Am I the only one that pictured Xaden and Bodhi looking like the Uso brothers? All the fancasts I see people put out aren't as big and muscular as I always imagined.

Overall, I love this story, though I wish I gotten to know both characters even more. It was really refreshing too having essentially a mafia romance but with POC characters 🥰 Looking forward to picking up the other books in the series. ^^

This is so beautifully drawn. I'm embarrassed so say I haven't watched the movie yet. Though I have seen, and adore, Song of the Sea. There's just something so magical and beautiful about the way the artist creates the characters and scenery 🥰

From the start I really didn't feel an emotional connection to Emily or Ruarc...though we do get dual POV, which gives us their inner thoughts...I just feel like they didn't get emotionally as deep as I would have liked. 😅

3 days until book 4 drops...I still need to read book 3...and I just realized that the cover of book 4 Keera doesn't have silver eyes AND her hair is short?! WTF is 3 and 4 gonna put me through?! 😭

Fuuuuuuuuu...I forgot how emotional this book had me the first time. Since I'd only read this book once before I didn't remember everything that happened, just a few of the bigger events, so it was just as much of an emotional roller coaster as the first time. 😭

To start my year I decided to reread A Broken Blade, by Melissa Blair, and OMG it still hit me in all the same feels. 🥹 Now to reread A Shadow Crown and then finally read A Vicious Game AND THEN, once it releases on the 7th, read An Honored Vow, AKA the final book of the series 😭 💙📚
