I’m learning that one weird thing about me is that I do not feel tired at the end of weeklong in-person work events, like offsites. Apparently this is unusual. A long weekend with my two toddlers is way more exhausting. Compared to that, work offsites are like a spa week to me.

We used NotebookLM to generate a podcast version of our design team’s internal newsletter. Just for fun! It used AI to generate a podcast where a deep male sounding voice spoke over the entire content, and a female sounding voice just added “Yeah!”s and “mm hmm”s cheerleading him throughout.

It’s so strange to read competitively phrased articles like “how to be better than other designers” when we could just cheer each other on as we hone our craft and improve ourselves and our community for our mutual enrichment.

There’s really no excuse for Denver not being a world-class bike city. The weather is mild, it’s mostly flat, it’s full of people who pride themselves on being outdoorsy, and some of its most popular attractions are pedestrianized zones.

So stoked to have Josh join the Webflow team in 2025, and have one more team member in our Colorado contingent! 🏔️

The amazing Denver recreation center I live near, along with the network of gyms it’s associated with, make me feel like I live in Europe. It’s very inexpensive compared to typical gyms, government-run, high quality, well maintained, and thoughtfully designed.
