So, what is going on with Bluesky? I keep hearing things, like porn being banned. It doesn't matter though. I haven't invested much into this platform and will continue using it normally until I cannot.

Quick update on my game: Writing is going better than I thought! The game has evolved quite a bit conceptually, we'll see if these changes stick.

I got save data working! I can now move on to programming in more things, like the shop, that requires data persistence. I'm excited with the shape this game is starting to take!

Why is changing scenes so difficult >.> You can't just let the program do it for you since it'll always reset everything. FML. I got something working. This took more time than I would have liked, and I need to draw now.

I spent some time learning about tilemaps, programmed the player input to use the tiles as pathways and swap stepped on tiles to indicate where the player has been. Tomorrow I will make tile triggers to start encounters, and to return to the world after the encounter is done. Now is drawing time.

Got the last test sprite for Nina drawn up (since these are test sprites, I've been repurposing my old illustrations)! But that's not all I did, I also drew the cum overlays and got 'em working. I don't think the cum renders work well with the current style... just more to fix :/

Just drew the nude test player asset and tried my hand at using overlays for compositing. The result now is that panties should be visible when a boolean isn't triggered. The same logic will be applied for cum stains :Y

They aren't pretty, but settings and loot are now functional. With these new features, I can ship the demo out on July 1! Until then I have to iron out random bugs, like the one havoc caused in the video, and put in some more stuff. I may even try to put in sound👀

I implemented statuses into my game. It took a bit of effort, but things are now working properly, and my code is a little cleaner!

I finished a test sex scene! Made a gif from the looping frames and implemented the full thing it into my game. Looking at it, I may need to fix cycle #2 's ballz :Y

I'm seriously debating changing up the type of characters I draw, from drawing furries to drawing catgirls and monster girls. I've drawn furries for over a decade, maybe this change 'll open new possibilities.

Spent my day programming instead of drawing assets... I expanded upon the texture logic from last time, the player now can wear outfits that go through states of undress. The player's active outfit can also change the sex scene. Sex also got a small overhaul.

Sid now has 2 textures to switch between. I will need to implement the logic to undress characters properly, but for now, it is tied to doing damage. I may spend the rest of the day drawing card/icon textures and sketch out Nina nude. Eventually, I will need to draw 2 sex scenes.

Got another asset quickly drawn! As you may see, I traced over my own image to save time on something that is temporary. Now that the two characters are in similar styles and sizes, I think it looks a whole lot better.

For those of you who don't go to twitter, that cesspool of a site, I've started making a deck-builder game. Today, I finished my first test asset for the encounter system. I am gonna need to make some more test assets so that I can move on from using mock-ups and old images for placement holders.

Well, I now have the time and desire to get Bluesky rollin'. Let's see what will happen. This totally isn't because I was cleaning out my twitter messages and found 40 fuckin' unread messages all from bots >.>

One last complaint, I know this is suppose to be a twitter clone, but couldn't they have made a proper tag system or even post editing?

The one feature that would have made me use BSKY primarily would have been public likes 🥲 It also seems like I can't put restrictions on my profile to keep non-users out or an age block... It like having a layer of protection to separate my NSFW and SFW stuff.
