It’s crazy how fast cons were growing year-on-year, so when FWA shrinks by 2.4% it really puts into perspective the toll the current administration is putting on international attendance

I‘m already feeling FOMO about Confuzzled and that con hasn’t even started yet.. Definitely need to go again next year. Combined with a 2 day road trip to get there :)

Heading down to Karlsruhe after work today. Big fursuit event happening there tomorrow. Bit excited for it, since I’ve barely been able to suit at NFC :)

Kids these days have no idea how exciting it was to have an open pixelated world on a heavy, bulky device in your jeans rear pocket. ..which needed it’s AA-batteries replaced pretty much every week.. xD

Back in Germany NFC has been.. a con.. I already didn’t have much social energy going into the con, but I ended up getting a cold on the first day, so my physical resources weren’t plenty either. So been a fairly quiet and slow con for me this year.

I've been having this idea for a while of Furcon passports and stamps. Like, I'd be handing out Con-Passports, order a bunch of stamps and hand them out to Reg-Teams at cons so that if someone shows up with one of those booklets, they can be stamped at registration. Kinda like the Lego-Store ones

Just looking at NFC’s schedule and jees.. my Thursday.. Barely have stuff planned for the rest of the con, but on Thursday afternoon I have to pick between 3 different events I want to attend.. x.x

YouTube, Reddit and Bluesky are unuseable in Firefox now.. The first one is extremely sluggish, the other two give me connection errors and won't load.. Guess I'll be having to switch browsers again.. Any suggestions? Ideally nothing Chromium-Based (due to 'Manifest V3')
