#weeknightwriters A3 This week's joy Over the weekend I did some perspective drawing as part of my drawing challenge. It reminded me how I used to do that kind of art extensively when I was 11. I taught myself based on inspiration from an album cover. It was a lovely reminder of my artistic self.

#WeeknightWriters A3: Joy! I got a royalty payment last week. Didn't expect that. This month I've sold 21 copies of my books. My boy cat Inky has decided he wants to sleep beside me in a way that makes me feel comfortable, too. (Instead of contorting myself.) I'm also having fun drawing!

#WeeknightWriters Struggles Struggling with fatigue, but that could be from being burned and family cares (last week my sister had medical drama). But I'm getting on. My nature is generally positive, and I'm taking ownership of identities to be a Doer. I write. Regularly. I play piano. I draw. etc.

#WeeknightWriters Holding up? Okay for the most part. Tried this week, and I burned my face last week after falling asleep on my phone. Ugh. But the creativity is flowing for all my arts, and I've reached 34K on my WIP.

#WeeknightWriters A4 There's a moment when everything comes together, the author and the editor visions for the piece make it take on LIFE. I love that. Getting help to take the piece to its final form. :)

#WeeknightWriters A3 My difficulties are getting started and breaking down the large project into smaller pieces that will be easier to edit. That's one reason I've been writing small pieces the last few years. I wanted to get comfortable with the full process beyond merely creating a draft.

#WeeknightWriters A2 Editing history? No, this will not be my first editing experience. I've had the fortune of working with Inkwells Editorial, a small editing company from Ontario, for the last 5 years. They refine my writing and it sounds like me, not some robot me I don't recognize.
