Whenever I see creative professionals talk about their peers/colleagues as competition or opposition (whether in acting, writing, game design, etc), all I can think of is this duo of quotes. How wonderful it is to live on a planet full of people who want to tell stories!

It feels like a lot of the discussion and arguments online have become incredibly convoluted, so I really don’t want to pretend I have all the answers as to what’s going on. My own stance has always been this: actors deserve to have safeguards in place against their work being used to replace them.
