In case you missed it last weekend, @thegamebrass.com dropped their gorgeous rendition and music video of "Lumiere" from #ClairObscur! I'm always looking for an excuse to sing duets with my superbly talented friend @johnrobertmatz.bsky.social, it was a joy to collab with him and Game Brass! <3

YEARS in the making, we recently finished up a run of shows with the New Haven Symphony! This was a ton of work for everyone involved, and we are so grateful for everyone at the New Haven Symphony Orchestra for pulling this together to create such a fantastic experience.

The past couple years have been VERY intense, and now we are all enjoying a bit of a break. That being said, it's our hope that this isn't our last orchestral performance. Here's to the conclusion of a successful project, with hopes for many more to come!

I also have to thank Katie Bonner Russo, Elaine Carroll, Diego Matallana-Rodriguez, Damali Willingham, Marvin Warshaw, Steve Henshaw, Chelsea Tipton and the musicians of the New Haven Symphony Orchestra for bringing their initiative, passion, and expertise to help make this show possible!

First and foremost, I want to express my gratitude to my band, @discocactus.bsky.social, for all of the work they put into this project. I couldn't imagine putting on a show like this with anyone else, and I'm so thankful for the energy, diligence, and passion everyone brought to this project.

Ever since watching my parents perform Dear Friends with the Hartford Symphony Orchestra, it's been a dream of mine to perform video game music with an orchestra. When the NHSO reached out to me to talk about putting on a video game music concert, I couldn't believe those dreams might come to life.

After what's been a whirlwind of a couple months, I am FINALLY able to sit down and collect my thoughts about the incredible opportunity my band DiscoCactus had to collaborate with the New Haven Symphony Orchestra on our very first orchestral performance!

Finally recovered from a positively legendary weekend with @discocactus.bsky.social performing with @nhso.bsky.social!!! I can't believe we finally had our symphonic debut, we poured our hearts and souls into this project for the better part of a year and are overjoyed with the result. OBSERVE

What a fun concert by @discocactus.bsky.social and the New Haven Symphony Orchestra yesterday! The Hollow Knight arrangement was particularly excellent and @lauraintravia.bsky.social was sublime singing City of Tears (not to mention everything else she did). Encore was a great "Last Surprise" too!

I had an amazing time with @discocactus.bsky.social at CMU this past week! Getting to work with DiscoCactus in an educational environment has been a dream of mine for a while, and we had a great time working with the students and performing in their beautiful hall.

Had a blast with @discocactus.bsky.social at Central Michigan University this past week! We gave a (packed!) master class to a variety of music students, followed by a concert at the Staples Family Concert Hall. I never get tired of performing with my best buds <3 Can't wait til next time!!
