Really struggling with various online communities I used to dearly enjoy giving in to AI slop. I’ve lost several friends over it recently, even dropped one of my absolute favorite bands for doubling down on using AI as a shortcut. I need to make a better effort to find communities here on bsky.

Thinking I'm going to step back into watercolor + inking in my free time, at least as client projects start to wrap up. I'd love some recommendations for: A sketchbook that can hold through inking/watercolor and has decent tooth to it - brushes - watercolor brands!

Man, it makes me really sad to see freelancers defending places like Fivver. Getting outsourced by companies like Nike, notorious for paying pennies on the dollar and then paying a 20% fee to the platform on top isn’t the flex you think it is.

As of this morning, I've reported #Upwork to the Better Business Bureau. Over the coming months I will also be creating a video series that shares the many unethical situations I and likely many others have been subjected to while trying to utilize this service.

Don't use #Upwork. After over a month of locking my account from being able to make money whatsoever, Upwork has suspended my account with no email/reason. Logged in and any remaining contracts I had left open for repeat clients were force closed with no reason to myself or my clients.

I’m really interested to start posting 1-2 page comics. I’m just not much of a writer. Feel free to share any loose ideas, and I may just run with it for a comic prompt! I will happily credit you if I use your idea/writing in any way.
