i have a lot i could say about loving your own work as an artist. it doesn't mean that you love yourself or even that you love your finished product. the most important thing is that you enjoy the process even though it's difficult and effortful. making art is fun. if it isn't fun for you then stop.

Art is so embarrassing. Like you have to make so much bad stuff before you can make good stuff. But then your definition of good changes so now previously good stuff looks bad and the cycle continues.

if someones art "looks like ai" chances are that's the material it was trained to emulate i've been seeing folks associate a style that was stolen with that theft and it's not fair to the real artists involved
