So I ended up taking the monarch caterpillars into a house on the porch to protect them. Only managed to find three of them. But already, they’ve been very cute! Two have even formed their chrysalis! Very exciting ^^

And I took the pan off to see what was floating around inside the base, and it’s the original counter!!! These are often missing! Used 353 times (if it wasn’t reset) meaning… it made $17.70. I don’t think that made up for the original cost xD

I’m beyond excited! Yesterday, I acquired my personal ‘holy grail’ of antique fans. A 1920s GE coin op fan! Used in places such as hotels, you’d insert a nickel and get 1 hour of cool, crisp breeze~ Gonna need to restore it someday <3 #ZippyAntiques

Welp, I dragged in a new noisemaker! This is a Columbia Graphophone Type Q. Should be made sometime between 1899 to 1903ish. Nickel plating’s seen better days, and it could use a cleaning, but it’s a strong player! Couldn’t pass it up at the price it was, haha! <3

And transplanted a bunch of these hellebores into one of the tiers in the garden. They were kinda growing as weeds in the woods behind the house. They’re very lovely up front here, morning sun and afternoon shade~ <3

Trying some new perennials in the garden. Hopefully they stick for many years! Got some lavender, catsmint, and doronicum~ ^^

Sad the stars didn’t align so I could see the SS United States towed into Mobile today. But I’ll certainly pay her a visit in a few week’s time… before they start cutting pieces off. Really am bummed she’ll be sunk, but glad I got to see her in Philly a short while back. Spectacular ship, truly

While it’s tragic the SS United States is being towed to her (eventual) doom, it’s spectacular seeing photos of her on the open ocean. Like a glimpse into the past!

This orange oil and beeswax polish smells wonderful! And it also helps radio cases shine up real nice too. Now… if only that new grill cloth would finally arrive. Still waiting… >.>

After doing a bunch of brakes and carb work for the Ford, and fuel pump work on the Olds… we’re road ready!!! But for now, a small celebratory parade around the warehouse~ Who’s driving the Ford? Me? Maybe… =3c
