Finally got around to getting that Nintendo Store app. Much of my most-played games doesn't shock me, but I am really surprised I put that much time in Splatoon 2. I didn't even come close to that amount of time with the other games in the series.

Been brainstorming a couple ideas for the channel as of late that I'd like to explore. Even if I haven't been doing as much as I'd like thanks to life stuff, I do still like trying to find new ways to have fun with you all, haha.

I certainly haven't done as much as I'd like to this year to say the least... However, considering what I have been having to deal with, I am still quite happy with what I have managed to provide to you all in spite of it.

I have no idea why I dreamed about a PMD-styled game, but the player gets turned into a Mobian. Yet, now, I think that would just be a neat idea to see happen.

Our utter embarrassment of a state superintendent resigned tonight. Do I expect anyone significantly better that will get education here in the right direction? With our current governor? Not likely. Still, seeing the clown leaving the position is cause enough to celebrate. Good. F'n. Riddance.

By no means clean and it can be definitely be improved by quite a bit (really got sloppy toward the end), but taking the top spot on the RA leaderboard for this is still pretty sweet. Kinda feels like I'm entering a speedrunning arc with this game, even it's just brief...

You ever seen an Egg Blimp go down in 21 seconds (allegedly)? Don't know why I got hooked on trying to speedrun the Iron Jungle Hero mission. It genuinely takes longer to do this than doing the intended strat, but it's just funny to see the game say I completed it this fast lol

Honestly, I wouldn't mind trying my hand at doing some sort of cosplay in the not-too-distant future. Got a couple ideas in mind so far.

So...I was going to go to MFF this year. Room lined up and everything. Was looking forward to it hanging out with friends and meeting new people. Boss rejects my vacation request. Why? Because I am taking three one week vacations in a six-month period and "the business can't handle that."

And with a final batch of letters collected, the SNES trilogy has now been completed.

Two days in...honestly, it hasn't been too bad. I've gotten along well with the team that I have met. However, some on the team are clearly upset by recent events and some have also resigned. There are operational issues that need to be addressed. With a deft hand, I'll take it one day at a time.

It suddenly got dropped on me that I have to go help another store for about two months because they are apparently down to a single manager. This should be interesting. You know what? I may want out of retail one day, but turning around some of a store's issues could be good resume material.

RetroAchievements Mastery #10. At last, I finally 101%'d DKC for the first time while doing so. Like DKC2, a nice mixture of straightforward and level-specific challenges that make for a pretty fun set. Guess I should go to DKC3 and complete the trilogy now, eh?
