To celebrate the International Day of Persons with Disabilities (#IDPD), the Accessibility Commissioner Christopher T. Sutton was pleased to moderate a panel discussion hosted by the @rickhansenfdn.bsky.social.

As we mark #NationalHousingDay, it is a reminder that adequate, accessible, safe and affordable housing is a human right. Yet for many in Canada, particularly people with disabilities, this right remains unfulfilled.

The Accessible Canada Act reminds us that #accessibility needs to be central to the design and delivery of programs and services.

The Accessibility Commissioner Christopher T. Sutton had the honour yesterday of being a part of the Canadian Association of the Deaf’s Deaf flag raising ceremony on Parliament Hill. Deaf culture is a part of our Canadian identity, and it is wonderful to see that being celebrated.
