I've just seen that there is an event with a session called "Towards a blue print of an EU Action Plan" and I wonder if that's just about the most EU title you could come up with - though maybe you could add a roadmap to the blue print.

Two things that I have learnt from this escapade. 1) I thought Starmer's political judgement was poor, I was wrong, it is abysmal. 2) Do not go down the US line; career diplomats are career diplomats for a reason, political appointees are a bad idea.
