Went 5-0 at the Gundam Newtype challenge today with my Clan deck. Round 1 was PB Lupus Round 2 was BW The-O Round 3 was GW Wing Zero Round 4 was BG Dynames Rush And round 5 was BR Cruz Control. Each game felt crazy close but I managed it in the end!

The GQ Psycho Gundam and Deux Murasame are just really bad cards. Which is fine, not every card is gonna be a banger. But their effects conflict with each other which is kinda baffling.

The assemble models come together really easy. I put these together in about 10 minutes on my lunch break. No glue, no fiddly pieces like MPC or Malifaux

Bought two of the GQUX assemble kits to get a playset of the alt arts and I hit the jackpot for the EX Resources

I absolutely love Pombon. New favorite starter and it’s gonna make me break my “only Dark and Poison types” rule

Testing some adjustments to my Clan deck. Went 1-2 today L Wing Zero, I just forgot that Dynames only has 5 attack on link and didn’t ping it down with double reds W PB L Age GR. That game came down to the wire. Might drop Ortega’s Rick Dom, since he’s not feeling great to play

Went 4-1 with Clan today at the Newtype Challenge!

This might be the deck for me this season. At least as long as BP is relevant

The Close Combat change was def a step in the right direction. I might put GFred back in over MAV tactics. But I went up against a Burple deck and was able to beat them in the last minute

Ran a couple games during lunch and I think into the mew meta, Clan can’t run GFred and Nyaan. I dropped them and one of the lvl8 GQ for 4 Close Combats and two MAV Tactics tho and that is feeling good.

I’m kinda not missing cosplay as much as I thought I would after moving away from my cosfam. Like I’ll def finish the Char cosplay but I kinda think I just wanna play the Gundam card game and post about it

Ran the Ping Clan/Zeon deck against The-O blockers during lunch and got the W on turn 6 The Kira-Kira isn’t just for Machu and Shuji anymore

I think these are the two decks I’m gonna play in GD03 The Pure Clan build is more consistent but Nyaan and the Fred ping is a lot of fun and deals with some problems better than pure clan

Been testing Nyaan Machu and Shuji in a clan deck. It makes Machu and The lvl7 GQux less consistent, but the GFred and Nyaan are just a problem. Online testing is about 50/50 and over the board testing is about 60/40 This deck pivots away from the lvl 5 GQ tho which hurts because I like the art
