Another thing I did recently that I haven't done in years - I made a baked cheesecake 🍰 Annoyingly, it cracked in the oven during baking, but you can't tell underneath the layer of whipped cream and M&Ms on top. It tasted pretty good too, if I do say so myself.

I took a break from social media for a bit owing to feeling myself spiral amidst all the recent dreadful news and events, and I think doing so has helped a little. Art helps me feel happy, and I did a couple self-indulgent pieces during this time, so I thought I'd share them here.

FREC 3 first day highlights: - asked to do a handstand to demonstrate the purpose of the esophageal sphincter - lady sat next to me on the course tells everyone she has an allergy to peanuts ...the *one* day I decided to make a peanut butter and jam sandwich for my lunch 😅 (She was fine, btw)

Honestly, the amount of times we say "Sports Time!" to each other is unreal. Wishing all of the lovely folks at Triple Jump nothing but the best.

I'm doing what I can to focus on the positives and small wins in my life at the moment - it feels like the one thing I can do to keep myself going. One such thing is that I managed to run 3.43 miles in 20 minutes on a treadmill at the gym yesterday. It's been tough going, but I'm proud of myself ☺️

Had a lovely moment with another driver whilst coming back from the gym this morning. We both pulled up to the lights, and saw that we pretty much had the same car - make, model and colour. We smiled at each other, waved, and gave each other a thumbs up. Most pleasant indeed 😌
