Mona Awad's BUNNY: loved parts, didn't care for others. But I'll admit it does linger pleasantly in the mind. More fairy tale-inflected dark academia, please! I also dug how directly it seems to channel Shirley Jackson's Hangsaman.

While it's a very clever inversion of American Psycho, and also kind of its own thing, it didn't always hit for me at the same depth as the "source material." But damn, is this book WICKEDLY funny at times, especially to a sick twist like me, I guess. I LOL'd all the way to the churchyard!
