Crazy that Driver pitched another project featuring his character and it was rejected by Iger and other Disney executives. I figured Driver was one of the ones ready to move pas on Star Wars after TROS.

It'll always be a shame to me that Iger forced him off the table as a consultant and let Abrams have full control. Even if they didn't like or use all of George's ideas, just the post-ROTJ world-building he described to Paul Duncan in the SWA99-05 book was rich enough to tell more than one trilogy..

I can't believe this book came out 15 years ago. I highly recommend it.

I'm not a major SW figure collector, but when this Black Series battle damaged Vader from the OWK series was just recently announced, I thought I already had it. And yeah, sure enough.. I picked it up when he was released as a Target exclusive I think two years ago.

Celebrating the 40th anniversary of Back to the Future by picking up Michael J. Fox’s new book about juggling making the first film and his hit sitcom “Family Ties” at the same time. Hoping to catch a 40th anniversary screening of the first movie at the end of the month.

I know 2027 is going to be about the re-release of ANH for its 50th anniversary and the new movie Starfighter, but I hope Disney/Lucasfilm gives us a re-release of Attack of the Clones for its 25th anniversary.

I believe this is my favorite Star Wars poster by Drew Struzan. It just captures the story of Attack of the Clones so well (along with being a great homage to the poster for Doctor Zhivago)

RIP Drew Struzan. While many on my feed are posting his incredible Star Wars work, I wanna honor his work on this trilogy. It is probably the first posters by him I saw.

I still can't believe this haunting TV promo for "Revenge of the Sith" was already airing on TV a month before the film came out. It gave so much away, not just clips, but the samples of the film's haunting score. Glad they included it and other TV promos on the DVD.

Wow, I see "fans" attacking John Boyega and his career just because he's expressed his opinions on the Star Wars. He's an enthuastic fan too, but he's not allowed to give his opinion? As for careers, you could certainly "go there" with most of the newcomers in the ST, but why bother?

The Acolyte definitely suffers from a case of "burying the lede." The more interesting story was The Stranger/Qimir's past with the Jedi and instead, got totally overshadowed by the twins, witches and ended up on a murder/suicide cover-up that made no sense and you could drive plot holes through.

I saw the new Superman on July 8th and I'm still thinking about it, so yeah.. I loved it. 😀 As a fan of Superman since I was a kid, it just hit all the right notes for me. Since Endgame and No Way Home, I've felt superhero movie fatigue/burn out, but now I find myself excited about this new DCU

So they're re-releasing the original TMNT movie from 1990 in theaters in August for it's 35th anniversary(it came out in March 1990), including behind the scenes footage(I suppose from the upcoming 4K/Blu-ray release) Already got tickets for my brother, my nephew and I.

I think TMNT IV: Turtles in Time was one of those perfect home arcade experiences. For those who also grew up with it, what was your reaction to playing it the first time? Do you think it deserves its place among the best SNES games?

Wow, the first movie I saw in a movie theater. I was 6. I still remember parts of it on the big screen, especially Judge Doom, who was pretty scary to a 6 year old.

It is hard to believe that 3 years ago this morning(at 3am EST), Disney Plus dropped the series finale of Obi-Wan Kenobi. I stayed up to watch it and here was my immediate Twitter reaction. 3 years later and I still feel this way...

It almost feels like Alan Silvestri is underrated. I know younger, modern audiences know him for his Avengers theme, but man, his work on Back to the Future alone, along with this classic film and others with Zemeckis, should put him up there as one of the true greats.

Got an e-mail from eBay on the 18th congratulating me for being a member for 27 years. Crazy. I still remember the first thing I bought on eBay was a Star Wars action figure and I had to pay with a money order because I was too young to have a bank account and I don't think PayPal even existed yet🤣
