🦇 This is absolutely terrific news!! Since 2002, for 20 winters, one solo male greater mouse-eared bat was recorded hibernating in a tunnel near the south coast, by Sussex Bat Group. In early 2023 a second bat was recorded in the same tunnel. A record in a new county is amazing!!
