I can’t find my iPod and it’s certainly annoying me. I love using it instead of my phone to listen to albums I can’t stream and also save battery usage on my mobile!

Highly frustrating when delivery couriers forget you have to run down 4 floors of stairs and don’t listen to the intercom when they buzz it.

I think the discord thing is a symptom of a different problem. The US has no data protection laws or digital privacy rights. Things are not perfect on UK/EU and governments are pushing the limits. But I think having such GDPR in the States would make a lot of these moves by big tech less bad.
