This is why I would want to go to an event in person some day. I don't want to go to a convention, I want to meet and make friends. Maybe someday

Even as someone who doesn't raid, this is just such a fun event to watch and chat with folks during. It's great to see homegrown efforts like these bring the community together and making it a charity fundraiser on top is amazing.

My rambling aside, I'm excited to refine my Inazuma run so I can gush about how great that game is.

I can truly echo this sentiment. I never thought I could do anything noteworthy enough to showcase, but I had runners I admire encourage me to just run and submit. It means a lot to share my passion. It meant more to have people cheer me on when I am essentially a nobody.

Densha De Go to the polls

I didn't pick up a lot of games during the steam winter sale, but I did grab several recommendations from the hidden gems episode of @bloodgodpod.bsky.social.

As my time off from work is wrapping up, I'm frustrated that I couldn't do much of anything. That said, I really needed to rest. I just wish I didn't have to get terribly sick in order to force myself to slow down and take a break.

I'm feeling more confident in my abilities and folks have asked for this in the past: My channel now allows for clips and will include vods. Run attempts and events will still be on my YouTube channel.

Finished the prologue for Octopath Traveler 0. Already drawn in by the lore and the world. It's interesting that the world feels so lived in after setting several games in the same place. I'm looking forward to having more time to play. This will definitely be the game I play during my trip.

It's hard to set specific goals for 2026. Between being a parent and a new job, I never know what each day brings. That said, I know I pushed myself too hard while chasing my goals last year. I achieved more than I thought possible, so I am proud of myself, but I want to dial things back this year

Now that I finished Inazuma eleven (both endings) Its time to start routing it. The new game plus that was recently added seems like it makes a run viable. Any% will certainly be too long for most instances but an truncated category could be a ton of fun.

Just finished the story mode in Inazuma Eleven Victory Road. What a special game. This is the sports anime video game I've wanted my whole life.

I've wanted to play this game for years, but I don't know if I can stomach another f2p gacha game. Also, relink was pretty good and might have given me the experience I needed.

Just realized that my work travel conflicts with AGDQ and the Heavyweight Savage world race :/ Timing for work travel is never convenient. I will still be modding when I can and plan to donate to both events.

Someone was happy I finally got out of bed today and brought the heated blanket with me.

I've been fighting off a cold for about a week now. Yesterday I felt so bad that I slept for almost 24 hours. I think I'm finally feeling better today.

It's that time of the year again

I always felt like caster gear didn't fit for a red mage so I am so happy to finally have access to all my glams. Let's see if this sticks because I really liked my previous glam but I think this turned out really cool: Viper chest, red mage hands, Clive legs and feet.

Finished the 7.4 msq last night and really loved it. The dungeon was fairly bland, but the trial might be the most fun I've had in recent memory. It also had a great self contained story that also gave so much for the overall narrative. I am really excited to see what is next.
