I don’t think it can be overstated what a masterstroke Quintus’s death scene is. Genuinely one of the best in the game. The Empire - our foe from the start - dies quietly and alone with him, a man incapable of existing in a world without it, as the rest of Garlemald pushes on in spite of it all.
