I've only read volume 2 so far but Yuri Espoir might be one of the greatest gl manga I've ever read. The basic principle of imagination vs. reality is so incredibly fun and the subplots so heartwarming and the way the protags's fates are intertwined is so gripping, it's a real page-turner. Love it.❤️

Da bin ich eben beim Übersetzen auf diese Zeile gestoßen und musste sie dreimal lesen, bevor ich es glauben konnte. Ich dachte erst, jemand hätte einen Witz gemacht, wie diese falsch übersetzten Redewendungen („I think my pig whistles“), aber nein. Das ist wirklich auch im Englischen so. Geil.

So recht dran gewöhnt bin ich noch nicht, aber dank deutscher Synchro kann ich meiner Frau essentielle Anime zeigen (Frieren, Made in Abyss, Apothekerin). Ich beneide die Dialogregie allerdings nicht darum, auch noch aufs Timing der eh schon manchmal ungewohnt klingenden Texte achten zu müssen. 🙏
