Thumbnail sketches are the earliest part of the illustration process. I like to push an idea as far as I can before investing time in finely rendered drawings or the final painting. As you can see I came up with a lot of composition ideas for Strength of Will!

We are back home safely from Gen Con! The ferrets are super excited to be home. I’ll share some pics soon but oof I’m tired and very definitely sick. *sigh* it was kind of inevitable with 80k attendees and a sold out show.

My new Otterball playmats were special delivered to me by Ultra Pro yesterday so I have them at Gen Con along with my new Basilisk Collar Dog and Ruthless Negotiation! They look great!

Anthrocon was amazing! I met so many kind people. There are people who told me they started playing Magic the Gathering because of Bloomburrow and sometimes even more specifically because of the work I did. They said they felt the furry community was seen and they felt included. 🧵
