It's really interesting to me that almost every viral toy in my kids' childhood (minus the Labubus) has been a sensory toy. These kids really are out here seeking a quick hit of dopamine AND sensory regulation.

Paid my respects to the beautiful, talented actress Kathryn Loder this afternoon. Best known for her villainous roles in Foxy Brown and The Big Doll House, she was a captivating presence onscreen, but most of her work was on the stage. She's buried in Waverly, NE. She was 38.

I gotta say, my local school district does a fantastic job at making their summer school programs fun and easy for the kids, so they still get some social time and learn something over the summer but I don't have to hear "I hate school" every morning. Sad that it's only three weeks!
