Let’s work harder on protecting our youth and creating a better system, because Child Protective Services doesn’t actually do it’s job. We still need to leak the files, but what would be even better is putting real protective measures in place for children.

2 more poems reflecting on my dad. Getting past these while dealing with my housing situation has been hard, but I’m not going to let it stop me. Interestingly enough, discussions of homelessness comes up a lot because he was the one who really respected and encouraged my desire to be altruistic.

“May a little joy flutter into you Life.” Love, Gina Rae Duran 2/14/15 I originally made the stamp in 2014, for a friend whose brother passed away. Hummingbirds are symbols of love, joy, family, and stoppers of time. And they brought me joy just a few months before, when my Nina left this earth.
