❌HB 8002 DOES NOT take away existing 8-30g moratoriums. ✅But, it prevents municipalities from getting new ones unless they do a Housing Growth Plan.

Converting vacant buildings is a good idea & works in some settings, which is why it's part of HB5002. However, truly vacant buildings (not new construction like this picture) are often old/dirty.
