Always love seeing Rich's talks. The callback to the Rethinking Reactivity talk at the 13 minute mark also took a big laugh out of me. All this love being poured into Svelte and the web makes me excited for frontend again!

Best part about owning my music: not having to deal with the clusterfuck of an UI that is Spotify. It is simultaenously baffling and not surprising at all that apps that are used by billions of people are the absolute worst.

🍨 Working on a Spatial Menu component. It allows navigating through items in a list/grid with the keyboard. But, its fully responsive, meaning you don't need to define a number of columns before-hand! Available to test now.

For some months now I've gotten the worst right-side eye pain sometimes when I wake up. As usual, the doctor wasn't much help, although I have a new appointment with a another one soon. Anyone had smth similar? It is associated with screen time/poor sleep but not always. And always right side.

MKW is fun, but why the hell did they make Grand Prix the least fun mode? The actual tracks last 1 lap, while intermission last 2. So when you're finally going "fuck yeah this track is fun!", finish line comes in. Intermission is not bad! Knockout is really fun. But they should have classic mode.

The Flanderization of ghibli in the public mind is just so insane to me. Acting like it’s entirely wholesome and cutesy but is really overtly anti capitalist, depict the horrors of war and environmental decline, and have TONS of body horror and depictions of death and disease. it legit annoys me

part of why i love svelte is how rooted in web standards it is and the amount it'll shout at me every time i try and add handlers to an element that isn't natively interactive. if you don't understand semantic html because all you know is abstracted component shite, you should probs just learn it.
