We are saddened to share that Professor Robert Boikess has passed at 88. Bob joined Rutgers Chemistry in 1968 & the union in our first days in 1970. For over 50 years he was a member-leader & a steadfast voice for fairness, dignity, & the public good. We honor his memory & the solidarity he built.

The real heroes are our incredible AAUP members who testified about their fear of retaliation. They kept us in court and candidly showed how chilling the government has been.
