I haven't followed Pokemon closely, but looking back on what I have seen over the last few years, yeah Pokemon designs have become more weird and less natural in some cases.

Digimon Beatbreak has returned after the holiday break and the beginning of the new arc. So far lots of new characters but I think what I was most surprised at is the cast of new Digimons that showed up. Was already surprised with the last episode having Marinebullmon, so I'm glad to see new faces!
