Home workshop got an upgrade today, classic Ender 3 printer.

Thought I was going to start rehab for my ankle, ended up at the emergency room too discover a partially ruptured Achilles.. looks like this will take a while to heal up fully.

Managed to pull my ankle in a fall during bouldering last week. 🙃 Been keeping off the foot for a week now and the swelling has gone down, next up trying to regain full mobility.

This marks the end of my first week back at Avalanche. It's been great returning to the studio where I first got started in the games industry. Things have changed quite a bit from the small team I joined back in 2005, with the company spread over three locations and working on multiple projects.

Gave up on my old Sonos S1 system and got some Wiim streamers hooked up instead this week. They work a treat paired with some Fosi audio amps and pre-amps. So easy to set up, room calibration was a breeze and sounds great. Streaming on 5ghz wifi is fast and stable, couldn't be more pleased!

Spring cleaned my LinkedIn connections, gone are all recruiters/talent/head hunters.. Also anybody with AI anything in their title, and most with word salad titles several sentences long. 🤡 Back down to under 1k connections, most of them artists and programmers I’ve actually worked with.

So happy with the home office right now, great place to work and just upgraded with a walking threadmill to get some extra steps in during work.
