i went skiing today- i brought my cousin and his partner with. ( they don’t know how to ski or snowboard) i turn around for one second and their snow boards are flying down the hill 🙃🤣

today, my partner’s parents did something that my own parents don’t really do for me. made me feel really special for my birthday coming up. i’m learning to love my birthday again and i’m so very grateful for the beautiful people in my life that love me. unlearning that love isn’t transactional

i grew up really sheltered, so i’ve never done a lot of things that a lot of other people experience growing up. so as a “pre-adult“ i’m trying to do new things! TODAY, i went skiing for the first time EVER. thank you to my partner for teaching me! i bombed some bigger hills than the bunny hills

ive been extremely depressed as of late because of life stuff but also bc of the new orders. i think about all the times i’ve faced discrimination and witnessed oppression of other colored folks—that this country promises the “american dream” when this country doesn’t even want us here.

i started this yesterday and i’m excited to keep adding to my friends leg this was really fun. they gave me creative freedom and i was thinking about this concept for a while and had the chance to draw it up! thanks again my beautiful friend 🫶🏻

we, as trans people, are in a state of survival Do whatever you need to do to continue to survive. Lean on community, find your people, seek joy and love. Times like these are made to wear us down, while it will be trying, do not let it break you We are stronger than this moment.

We’re in scary times, but remember that the trans people immediately at most risk from the executive orders are those who were already being persecuted under Biden—prisoners, immigrants, full service sex workers etc. It’s okay to be afraid but keep your head in the game.
